Mockingbird,

Chase Coy, you handsome man you.

Wire,

I saw this diy on pinterest, and it got me thinking; craft wire? Pliers? Dollar store?

THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!

This is the creation;

and these are the materials I used;

Floral wire (dollar store)
Ribbon (dollar store)
Pliers (mine, not dollar store)
Paper & Pencil (also mine, but if you want to dollar store it..by all means)
Charms & Jump Rings ~ 100% optional

I drew a rough draft of what I wanted, so it was fairly easy to follow along with the twists and curves.

The wire was also pretty soft, some of it I didn't even need the pliers!
Then I latched on a jump ring along with a charm, pulled the ribbon through and tied a bow,
then called it good(:

You can really make anything out of this, a BFF necklace just like this one, (but I would suggest thinner wire for that one) make a cursive initial for a friend, spell out a full name.

Like I said, possibilities? Endless.

Colourful Bobby Pins,

I saw these allll over pinterest, so I decided to give it a shot(:

They turned out pretty darn cute too! I even made some for my little sisters; they LOVED them.

Materials;
Fingernail polish
Bobby pins
Something to slide them onto, makes them thousands times easier to paint.
(I used the back cover of an old notebook and put some paper under them)

PAINT 'EM UP.
Then you're good(:

Bobbypin Box O' Wonders

This little box, has saved my life. Okay, not literally, but seriously. I go through bobbypins like water. WATER I SAY.

So I saved a cute little box to store them all, but then on pinterest I saw this, and I was inspired.

Materials;
Container of any kind, one that will take glue well.
Glue (I didn't have any hot glue gun..sticks...so I just used Elmers Liquid glue & it's stuck just fine)
Magnet-- magnet strips

Or you can just do what I did;
Kidnap the plumbing advertisement magnet on the fridge. Works like a charm. Thin enough & still magnetic enough(:

Glue those suckers on!
Then you're basically good.

I especially like that I can keep all my random barrettes inside the box.

Best Of Luck

Five Strand Braid Headband,

Hey stranger, I want you to catch me like a cold.

Sorry, my latest obsession? Panic! At the Disco. & that line ^ the one up there, is most definitely one of my favorites. Not gonna lie.

ANYWAYS,
A while back I learned how to make these superbly awesome headbands! I wear them all the time, and they really weren't even that hard to make(:

Here is the tutorial, & much better pictures. I just wanted to share the love(:

Please excuse my not-so-high-quality pictures, my camera does it's best.

Best of luck,

Friendship Headphones,

My oh my, this definitely took some time...but was awarding in the end(:

it's just the basic knot, where you make a four then pull the tail through,
for hours & hours & hours & HOURS.

So feel free to pop in movie, because you ain't goin' no where any time soon!

But like I said, rewarding(;

Best of luck,
~~diiixie

P.S.
Headphones
Embroidery Floss
Some sort of glue to finish it off (I used fingernail polish, because we have a now apparent lack of tacky glue in this house...)
TIME.

Mustache Mug,

Yes, I've given into the mustache fad.
I just couldn't resist!

So therefore, here it is...
My confession;

Super duper simple,
mug at the dollar store (cha-ching!), and a sharpie.

SIMPLE, EASY PEASY LEMON-SQUEEZY.

Snatched some paper, penciled a mustache, chose the better looking half and folded it for an attempt at symmetric coolness, cut it, taped it, traced it & filled it. I'm pretty pleased with my result too(:

But if you're super talented & popular you could probably draw it right on the cup.

Peace out.
